Happy new year Idols! So did we stuffed ourselves all the time in these celebrations days? To much as usual? Did we strictly followed the tradition of December 24th of the fried cod? OK but there is not just one recipe for codfish and perhaps on January 6th [that in Italy means the end of Christmas time, Epifania] we could end how all began: with a simple, cheap but effective recipe. Just 4 simple steps and just 30 minutes to prepare.
Let us just remember that we must desalinate the cod in water for 2 days and then dry it before we begin.
This pasta with cod is a very tasty first course, easy to prepare and very cheap, try it, you will love it, for sure! Happy New Year!
Here ingredients for 3 persons
- baccalà - 300 gr
- linguine - 300 gr
- pomodorini - 15
- olive nere - 50 gr
- capperi - a piacere
- spicchio d'aglio - 1
- prezzemolo - q.b.
- olio EVO - q.b.
- Let cook the cod in plenty of water for about 15- 20 minutes
- Meanwhile cut tomatoes in half, we put plenty of oil in a large skillet, a clove of garlic, add the tomatoes cook for 5 minutes, then capers and olives at the end
- Remove cod from water, let's add it to the pan with the tomatoes, smash it with a tablespoon and cook together for 2-3 minutes [My advice first taste if salty enough, but cod fish and olives are enough]
- Meanwhile we bring the pot to a boil for the pasta, cook the pasta and add the pasta into the pan with salt cod, mixing everything on fire for 30 seconds. On plate and decorate with parsley
